He attacked a battle, not your or a planeswalker you control. So he is still free to cast spells.

First strike and double strike only work for combat, because those abilities add a second combat damage step to the combat phase, and dictate which creatures get to deal combat damage in which step. A fight isn't combat, so neither ability works in a fight. The creatures simply deal damage to each other, at the same time, hence while your Glissa died.

And why would it? The Likeness Looter is a Shapeshifter and a Faerie, not a Merfolk. It doesn't have changeling either, so it only has those two creature types, not all of them. You can turn it into a copy of a Merfolk, but then it loses its tap ability.

Was it in the command zone? Your opponent may have opted to leave it in the graveyard, and Arena shows, that the card can be used for kits ability. You may have misinterpreted what was shown.

Read Sunfire Torch. It says, that the creature is dealing the damage. It was a token as you stated, probably one of of the Oni-Cult Anvil. And those tokens are colorless.

Was your opponent playing w/g? If so, Kutzil is a card, a 3/3 uncommon creature, that does not allow you to cast spells during your opponent's turn.

Cityscape Leveler has a cast trigger (and attack trigger), not an ETB trigger. Since the Metamorph is not being cast as a Cityscape Leveler, you do not get a trigger from it.
Skitterbeam Battalion does have an ETB trigger, one that also has the additional clause, that you have to have cast it. So a cast Metamorph will get you the trigger.
No bug here.

Lord Skitter's rat token comes too late to count for the Battle Mouse's celebration if that rat is the second nonland permanent entering the battlefield under your control this turn. This is because the Battle Mouse's celebration is a "beginning of combat" trigger WITH AN INTERVENING-IF CLAUSE. That clause has to be true at the very moment the trigger would go off. Which it isn't in this case. So no trigger.

109.2. If a spell or ability uses a description of an object that includes a card type or subtype, but
doesn’t refer to a specific zone or include the word “card,” “spell,” “source,” or “scheme,” it means
a permanent of that card type or subtype on the battlefield. -

Rumbling Rockslide is a sorcery, so the spell was cast in a main phase. Dreadmaw's Ire has to target an ATTACKING creature, of which there are none in a main phase. So you do not have a legal target for your spell and thus can't cast it.

The weekly quest of 15 victories has NEVER given out gold, only exp. 250 per victory. The dailies give gold, the weekly does not.

The loop is on the two cards: Peregrin Took and Experimental Confectioner. Nothing else nessessary.
Confectioner makes a Rat token for EVERY Food token you sacrifice. Peregrin Took staples onto EACH of those another Food token. So you get 3 Rats and 3 Food for sacrificing 3 Food to the "draw a card" ability of Peregrin Took.

Adaptive Gemguard has an activated ability, not a triggered one. Roaming Throne only applies to triggered abilities.
Activated abilities ALWAYS have the template [cost]:[effect].
Triggered abilities ALWAYS use the words "when", "whenever", or "at" to describe their trigger condition.

Dowsing Device only gives +1/+0 per artifact that enters the battlefield, not +3/+0, so there's nothing wrong here.

But there are several cards that keep a player from losing that way: Phyrexian Unlife, Pact Weapon, Cloudsteel Kirin, The Book of Exalted Deeds, Platinum Angel, etc.

That mode of Gix's Command doesn't target, "each creature" does not designate targets. In fact, none of its modes target anything. You can tell by the utter lack of the word "target". An effect has to use the word "target" in order to be targeted. And destruction can and frequently does happen without any damage, like in the case of Gix's Command. It doesn't deal damage, so there is no damage to prevent, it's flat out destruction: *poof* gone. So Surge of Salvation is useless against that card.

"Each opponent" does not designate a target, that's why Sheoldred's Edict gets around hexproof, it doesn't target.
There isn't a card to get around hexproof in Standard right now, to my knowledge, but in Exporer and Historic there are Glaring Spotlight and Kaya, Bane of the Dead, with their static abilities that negate hexproof, as well as Detection Tower with an activated ability for the same effect.

Sounds like Solemnity or Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider were on the battlefield.
Nine Lives does not prevent you from losing for having 0 or less life. Since you dropped to -5, you lose. Probably because some card said, that damage cannot be prevented.
