I figured out why this game's code is so ****. It was actually programmed by a guy whose day job is at Burger King. His name is Carl and he's trying his best, okay? Hasbro is so desperate for revenue they can't afford anyone else.

Hey folks, just wanted to thank you all for your comments on this issue which strengthened my resolve to abandon the game. I have uninstalled the app and left negative reviews everywhere Wizards still permits it explaining my position. Long story short, I put together an easy-peasy white lifegain deck when I first got started with Arena and climbed to Mythic 95% with a 72% winrate two months in a row. Took 1 - 2 weeks tops. I was almost always on the play with a perfect curve and all my power cards: Heliod, Linden you name it. On the strength of this I invested in other meta decks and yes, cosmetics to enjoy the game to the fullest, I was rewarding what I thought was a good product. Little did I know this was the exact wrong decision because something about the pattern made Wizards decide I was "hooked" and I should be used to "feed" other wins to people with less of them. So now I sit in Platinum 4 facing power decks every match that never make mistakes while I go on the draw more than half the time and constantly miss drops. The game is no longer fun because of this, doubled because every player I meet agonizes over every decision even the land drops on turn one and two which are veritable no brainers. It takes 15 minutes for me to lose a BO1 match I never had a chance at to start with. Congratulations Wizards, you lost me as a customer until somebody exposes how you've been wrecking this product. I'll go play Gwent or something that doesn't have as many greedy corpos from an exploitative multinational toy company breathing down its neck.

Guess you guys at Wizards needed a break for the weekend, huh. Sadly we never sleep and we pay your salary. Would have been nice if you had fixed what you broke before taking a snooze but whatevs. Don't worry, fellow Magic-playing losers, all your gold and XP is still being gathered, I tested it. You just can't see what you're winning. Protip check your packs and mastery tokens after every match just in case. Whenever rest time is over on Monday I guess this will be fixed quickly. I'll get along somehow.
