   I also encountered this issue, also when playing on an iPad Air (4th generation) running iPadOS 15.6.1. Trying to force close the app, then restart it did pull me back into my game in progress, but again I wasn't able to pick a pile. While trying to rejoin on my PC, I ran out of time in the match and got a game loss.
