   Aaaarghhhh!
   WotC updated the UI and some cosmetics but do not work on the real bugs of their MTGA client with the 2022.18.0 update.
   That is real customer oriented bug tracking and high level software development!!!

   I found a quick work-around:
   just disable MUSIC, VOICE and AMBIENCE in the audio options, leaving SFX as ony sound.
   seems to work for me ...

   game has problems when too much animations / sounds happen at same time.
   only possibility => restart client.
   very, very, very annoying !!!

   we had the same issue back in Nov-2021.
   in between it got fixed -- now it reappeared.
   the game MTGA is now nearly unplayable due to stead hangs...
   plz fix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
