Mouse camera control issues
TL;DR: Please consider fixing how the mouse controls the camera so that moving the mouse a fixed distance causes a fixed amount of camera rotation, regardless of mouse speed.
Today, the rotation of the camera in response to mouse movement changes depending on how fast you move your mouse. In a way, it feels like negative acceleration, the faster you move your mouse, the slower the camera responds. This feels really really bad — basically, the more trouble you are in, the harder it is to turn around. I have never seen this in a game before, and it really makes no sense as a control mechanic.
The best thing about mouse control when compared to controller is predictability and muscle memory, being able to know that every time you move your mouse X inches, the camera will turn Y degrees — this should be a constant every time no matter how fast or slow the mouse is moved.
Please please please consider fixing this!
