There are SEVERAL cards that say "opponents can't cast spells/instants on your turn" or " opponents can only cast spells when they could play a sorcery" or some variant thereof. BE SURE TO READ ALL OF YOUR OPPONENT'S CARDS!!

Of course it can't be played during a main phase. It must target an ATTACKING creature.

Cost is reduced by basic land types and some multi-colored lands have the types of lands they are producing.
Example: Jetmir's Garden is a land of the types Mountain, Forest, & Plains so it counts for 3 for Domain. -

While I've never seen the white at the top the other graphical problems tell me that your Arena is close to crashing and needs to be restarted.

Does that happen every time you see the home page or after playing for a while?
If it's every time - have you tried reinstalling?
If it's after playing for a while - restart Arena, otherwise it'll likely crash during your next match.

Modular requires an artifact creature to target, which made their Oaken Siren the only legal target since you didn't crew Mechtitan Core beforehand. You should have been able to decline putting the counters on it though.

Did they have out anything else that could be reducing costs? Mindsplice Apparatus? Haughty Djinn?
Also, if they aren't tapping creatures to help pay for the cost then they aren't using convoke. -

Was there any other land cards in any graveyard for it to copy? Because apparently it either enters tapped as a copy or untapped as itself.

That looks less like the game crashing and more like you losing connection to the game's servers.
If the rope timer ends and the match doesn't continue it means that you have lost your connection to the game server. Congratulations on your loss.
