   There are multiple cards with effects like "opponents can't cast spells on your turn" or "opponents can only cast spells whenever they could play a sorcery." Did your opponent have any of those?

   Not a bug, just an exploit that people with no skill like to abuse. Though more often it's Faceless Haven that's paired with the book because they were available together in Standard for a while.
