There are multiple permanents that have the ability of either players can't gain life or opponents can't gain life. Did your opponent have any of those out?

Are you sure you didn't receive them and aren't just trying to make a deck in a format she's not legal in? Because she's not legal in Standard or Alchemy.

Pretty sure that Equipment Creatures are seen as just Equipment when they're equipped.

If you used Delighted Halfling's ability to create colorless mana, that's why. Delighted Halfling has two abilities. The first is to simply generate 1 colorless mana. The second is to generate 1 mana of any color that can only be used on a Legendary spell & makes that spell unable to be countered.

Gonna need more info here, like what all was on the board, what's in graveyards, did they respond with anything, etc.
If you were playing a format that allows Alchemy cards, Jonah most likely got Ward 2 from Guildpact Greenwalker's ability "multicolored creatures you control have ward {2}."
