newest update causes black screen with a cursor on startup, running in windowed mode. SEVERAL updates last year caused this same issue, it hadn't happened again until now but the game is unplayable again. tried clearing dns cache and restarting, reinstalling the game and nothing works. windows 7

Game boots to black screen with a cursor, exactly the same thing that has happened with 70% of the "updates" y'all release except now it's been 4 days. can't generate a log for some reason, won't bother with a screenshot because apparently plenty of people are having this issue. this is the most expensive video game i could play, but why would i continue to spend money if every patch just bricks the entire program?

Gem and gold rewards don't seem to work at all in this mastery season. I noticed a week ago that the gems from a completed quest never showed up, and now the 2000 gold reward didn't work at all. Not sure if packs are showing up either because I haven't kept track. This is very annoying, since I paid for the mastery pass from draft gems and $10.
