    I also uninstalled and re-installed the game, but that had no effect either.

    ahhh, nice!

    FYI: I just started the game on the off chance that it had fixed itself, and it has (or Wizards fixed it). Last night I installed the latest Visual Studio runtimes, as someone somewhere on reddit suggested; had no immediate effect, and I turned off the PC. Now it seems to work. I doubt updating the runtimes did anything though.

    Reckon there'll be a fix anytime soon?
