    I have flushed the DNS cache, and performed a winsock reset. It did not resolve the issue.

    Unfortunately, many of these players are using 4+ each of nearly every instant, sorcery and/or enchantment card from each color. If you're playing a constructed -- 60 card deck -- it makes them nearly impossible to fairly compete with. There should be a separate mode of gameplay where users with 100s of cards in their decks can play one another.
