Explorer has been the reason I buy paper magic cards (sealed and pioneer pre con decks), because explorer gives me and others a way to (somewhat) play our favorite eternal format. Of the goal of these Anthologies is to pull explorer in alignment with pioneer, this anthology failed. Now my friends are I are less inclined to play arena and actual paper magic because it appears that having pioneer on arena is not the vision for this company. I'm less inclined to bring friends into the game because of the disconnect between what they can practice on arena and what they might face at a local fnm.
