    Worked! :-) for me Wednesday Dec 13 - two games via direct challenge from friends list - same player.
    Both of us running Mac OS.
    Installed new version today.

    Will retest Friday. Wishing you all good luck too

    Same error for me last night 12/6. Worked 12/5 for first time in a while.
    (Had worked for years but mostly not working in the last few weeks). (Running MacOS - tested with two diff friends, both challenged and being challenged) - wishing you good luck in working on this tricky problem. Thanks!
