    Same issue here (iMac).
    When I try to purchase gems, the “Waiting for server” animation spins forever. If you press Escape, you can actually open the Arena options menu behind it, but the transparent “connecting to server” overlay never goes away and the payment pop-up never appears.

    It seems like the issue is that the payment pop-up never launches. I’ve opened tickets before, but nothing has been resolved. This has been happening for at least a year.

    I really don’t want to install on mobile and pay the additional iOS store fee just to work around a bug.

    This should be a high-priority fix for the dev team—it directly prevents players from making purchases.
