Whenever I play another individual on MTGA, if they play an alchemy card, then in my opinion, it's essentially "cheating" - if WotC wants to introduce alchemy, and keep MTGA alive and well, then I think for their "commander" format, they need to ban alchemy cards from the "commander" format (aka, historical brawl). In my opinion, alchemy has horrendously impacted the game. Because prior, as I play against players, if I see a cool card being played on MTGA, I used to write it down, and then go to my Local Game Store, and try to find it (or find it on the internet if not there) - but with alchemy..... wtf??.... it just majorly hurts the paper format and the digital format. because I only want to play decks that I could possible play against with a real person. MTGA is great for deck building and deck testing, but when it comes down to it, until MTGA introduces true commander, other options will be the preferred option. MTGA has the option of A) getting rid of cards that don't exist in real life, and B) upgrading MTGA to involve 4 player games (like SpellTable)
