    I had a similar situation with an Amonkhet draft:

    My opponent had 8 creatures on board and I had 6, I can't block the bigger one a 4/5 Soulstinger and it cost me the game I had a lethal in the back swing if I could block properly. They didn't play any other spell before combat and went for the alpha attack. I try with different creatures with no luck. It was the first creature on the left.

    It can be something with the Peacefuld Dog pet I had it as well and the green layout looks bigger than the other pets I ever had.
