This is still an issue, got it two times today - couldn't counter a Dinosaur creature!!! Why isn't this fixed?
When I tried to counter the green dinousaur (with stun counter and 6/6 - don't remember the name) ithe card had a red border and game asked me if I'm really sure ... :(
Edit: It might have been the case, that opponent used Cavern of Souls, which prevent countering of given type of creatures. So, I'm not sure anymore ...
