Redeemed thief
I cast redeemed thief, so my opponent would not activate traps, but they still activate it even tho I had the creature on my field they use giant growth.
How that can avoid the CAN'T USE TRAPS.

Your Redeemed Thief isn't the one triggering the giant growth, It's your opponent's creature.
Redeemed Thief won't trigger traps that target it, such as opening salvo or immolating glare.
