Frustrated players dont play (the next solforge?)
Lili / Serra / Teferi / Ral all got nerfs that do absolutely nothing to affect what makes them overpowered. Ral and Teferi HAVE to get more attention than this. I've read through all the patch notes and noted each nerf/buff since the beginning. It's a slew of instances just like this. And this would be ok if all the other walkers and the majority of the cardpool were on par - but they are not. Scaling up is NOT the answer to any of the games current problems, it just creates the next problem (like monstrosity, baaaad buff - now you refuse to go back....seems kinda petty, and just bad for business) - you need to scale a few things down, wait, and let the dust settle. No one is going to play those titans as much as you want us to until this happens...why would we? We are playing against hyper aggro constantly or lists with traps/cardadvantage into boardwipes. Those titans are stuck in the midrange that no one can really TRY to care about yet, and they are GOOD already, we would play them more if we could.
(im talking in the diamond-mythic meta, that's the issue here, the climb is honestly the one fun part of the game. Get to mythic and it all starts to just not make sense anymore).
Make monstrosity a 4 drop and thing in the ice a 3 or even 4 drop, and look at rals 1 / 2 casts, something has to give - his draft spell should cost 1 for example.
zombify has to be a 3 cast - i do NOT want to nerf lili, but if you're not getting rid of lich and grim then that is the only viable solution to casino lili's early game ****. <-- thats one of the stupid things that gets ppl to just quit, it makes no sense vs the rest of the game. Just like ral going off turn 3 or 4, jace OTK at turn 5 or 6 etc. etc.
I quit for a month in hopes of some changes - this isn't good enough im sorry, and speaks to how the future of the game looks. More and more people are going to stop playing and your not bringing in enough new players - this game will die faster than solforge did. I can feel it. And this is coming from a HUGE fan of both games.
PLEASE get on this stuff better than you have been, nerfs that make more sense, ease up on the buffs - gotta point out monstrosity again, YOU did that both because you cranked out new cards too soon AND gave out a bad buff too hastily. Same with teferi - you gave him TWO really really good buffs, and now have to nerf him but refuse to renege on even one of your mistakes...Could have avoided an entire 2 months of bad meta had you taken some of my advice sooner.
Change vivs arrow back to its 1 cast version. (this is me being butthurt...like wtf devs, don't fix what isn't broken) The phoenix buff would actually be kind of awesome if we had the old arrow. But for now miracle is just terrible. That was its one hope of being great right now with what's available. Would prefer to play inferno, but that's still bugged.
Update more frequently, address problems faster and you will retain more players. < gotta end on that note because now I'm likely to stop for another month, or longer. I send you this long-whiney-message in hopes that some of this stuff is addressed a little bit better and maybe the future of the game will look a little less frustrating. Good Luck and Good Day!
