Good for the spectator. What is your question, again?

Can you at least return spectate for private rooms? a lot of content creators, us included, use spectate to monitor or record games. I feel like returning it to private rooms would solve the issue on both sides. We will have to cancel some of our shows if this is not returned.

Please Fix this issue, it is something that is very important to a lot of people!

Spectate is not working

I can't watch my friends play. very serious.

Only re-enable if you are willing to add functionality to disable spectators audio and/or block abusive spectators.

Spectator mode was how we would stream online events. Please bring this back so we can share our games.

This feature is super important for online tournaments

This feature is critical for judge calls in online play.

I am now unable to record and make content about MTG now that the spectate feature is gone.

This feature is critical to the online tournament meta. This also enables us to share experiences with friends while not actively playing with those friends.

This bug also basically voids the ability to run online tournaments via spell table as the alternatives for judges to view a game for judge calls are not ideal

Background info: we (the r/cEDH Discord) often use the spectator mode link via SpellBot to oversee games where there have been reports about misconduct to take moderation action. This feature is vital in keeping the games and the Discord server clean as per our own rules.
