This has been happening to me now for 2 months for me on my laptop

Kaldane#28233's comment fixed the issue for me. Looks like the room will always fail to load on devices with no camera pre-installed.

I'm getting the same issue. Looking at the console it looks like an issue with spelltable finding the microphone / headphones and failing to load the room correctly.

I've tried different headsets and browsers, allowed everything in the permissions and still nothing works.

Would be good to have a fix or at least a clear error message when the room fails to load correctly

This is currently happening to me as well. Even after all the fixes, nothing changes. Hope this gets fixed soon, i can't play for a days now the 20/11/2025

HI, I have tried enabling pop ups, enabling everything, restarting my desktop. It still says connecting to server. I guess this is a known issue where laptops work but desktops do not and you can get around it by downloading a processor to have your desktop show up as a laptop. Changing the browser to Edge or Chrome did not help either. It used to work though.

I had this same issue while normally using a phone as my webcam. My fix was to download OBS and connect to a game with the camera switch to webcam mode with OBS connected. It connected back to the game normally and from there I was able to switch to my phone again.

same issue tried 2 pc's deleted all cookies, rebooted router and modem. can't even see my camera (mobile phone)if i make my own lobby
