I understand that developing a UI/UX for Liliana of the Veil's -6 is challenging, because it involves selecting a large, variable number of cards and separating them in two piles. However, I believe I have a more effective method than the one currently used that is both more intuitive for the user and reduces clicking by at least 50%, as well as already being implemented in client.
The interface for Yorion, Sky Nomad is remarkably similar to the Lili Ult in many ways. You select a group of permanents and separate them into two piles: those that get exiled and those that don't! Now there are some differences, namely that you can select lands and that you select your opponent's cards, not yours, but these are minor adjustments. The UI effects already exist.
To eliminate any chance of confusion, the reminder text should be:
"Select the cards to go in Pile 1.
(The rest go into Pile 2.)"
This method allows players to select/deselect cards by simply clicking on/highlighting them, which is far more intuitive with the rest of the client! Hopefully you agree that this is more optimal, and adopt it! Thank you for your time!
