But since my opponent went first and they're using this god awful broken card, they play Kjora Bests the Sea God (Which makes people rage quit even when played normally) on turn 2. There is literally nothing I could do even if I had saved the 1 mana I had. I would like an explanation from anyone who thinks that is fair and promotes fun gameplay.

How has nothing been done about this broken card. Its been wreaking havoc for so **** long.
Has anyone given a good defense as to why something that nukes the entire board, at the amount that best suits the controller, while ignoring hexproof, indestructible, and protection, is both fair and fun?
Literally the only way to prevent him using his obnoxious ability is to counterspell. Which seems to be the deal with more and more cards nowadays.
And even if you bent over backwards to explain why "No its actually a perfectly fair and balanced card", it doesn't change the fact that so many people just concede as soon as it hits the field, because yeah game is over 9/10 times.
Because it doesn't matter how statistically perfect a card is, when it doesn't promote a fun game, and most people hate it, it's not a good card.
