   I am having the same issue. The game worked properly for release and started with the multiplayer issue on 7/6.

   I am unable to even select the alternate online modes. Someone described a 'bonk' sound, I have the same thing. My wife is able to start a friends only session, but I fail to join the session every time.

   Both of us are Xbox One.
