It progresses seemingly at random. I have it up to 170/250 now, but there is no rhyme or reason for it. I just completed a game where I:
- Was in a matchmade game
- Destroyed 2 of the opponent's creatures using damage spells (red)
- Cast at least 5 spells
- Won the game (opponent didn't concede)There was no progress towards the achievement.

I have made progress on this achievement - I think it's related to damage-based spells.

Okay, sorry for the chain here - I guess it's only spells that specifically say destroy. Perhaps that's obvious to everyone else :)
I was trying to let it progress naturally, but had to sit down down and try different ways of "destroying" an opponent's creatures. It's specific to things that say Destroy on the card. Fair enough.
This can be closed, though I might suggest an update to the wording of the achievement considering there is a Daily Quest with similar wording that I wouldn't fault a player for assuming mean the same thing (kill vs. destroy).
