I've been playing MtG for 23 years of I remember correctly. I've played MTG arena for years as well. I've been happy having it as a little portable thing I can play whenever I have 10 free minutes. I like the lore and even if I wasn't reading all kinds of in universe stories, I would still want the theme of the cards to be cohesive.

Recently that's not possible since at the very least my opponent will be playing all kinds of out of multiverse cards, even if I don't. Not just in arena, but all type of MtG games. Though outside of arena there is at least a chance to find a game that only plays original, in multiverse cards. Here I don't have a choice but to play with Spiderman and My little pony or whatever.

I've read UB was a financial success, thought so was the invasion of Poland during the WW2 from what I understand, so that's not necessarily a foolproof measure of goodness. I've specifically read Mark Rosewater saying that if there's traction for a format without UB then it might come to exist. So here I am, adding some traction. Please count my voice as several, since I doubt all of the people who care will bother submitting a ticket.
