I am experiencing this as well. Investigate + Mirkwood Bats does not trigger.
Example 1: Screenshot 1 - Only triggers from crab, not from clue.
Example 2: Screenshot 2 - Before Investigate. ; Screenshot 3 - After Investigate. No life total change.
