I have a few multiplayer phone games without this issue and they get favorites because of it

I have a few board games on my phone and the repetition of the music and sound effects just get annoying; so im playing silent; no other app has an issue with cross play
ALLOW MUSIC TO PLAY IN THE BACKGROUND
I find the music in magic repetitive and the sound effects “whooshing” as annoying I usually turn off volume to listen to my tv when I’m home.
When commuting I play music/Spotify and game on my phone. Except that has stopped working and now my choice is to play in silence or the game music
Now without being able to listen to Spotify significantly lowers replay-ability: I feel like this game falls a tier lower than A tier card games (hearthstone, yugi oh) or even B tier Board games (Monopoly, Catan) because they can’t get this simple feature that every other game has. It instantly doubles the users fun it’s insane this isn’t a bigger issue to the team. I’d rather read on my commute and listen to music than play a game in silence. It’s foolish to ignore what should be a relatively simple feature of most modern mobile gaming.
