Agree with some, not all. In the end, they are trying to control who we are capable of playing against and that ruins the game. Same tier of difficulty players, sure.... but I shouldn't be forced to play against black discard six times in a row just because I am running White Auras or Mono Red.
If I switch to a mid-range deck, I end up playing against midrange decks. We should be able to face everything.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I just faced Black discard 6 times in a row. That deck is an autoconcede and forcing us to play against the same archetype decks is something that would never happen at a LGS.
You guys continue to make decisions that take this game away from the heart of MTG. Lack of trading included. Take your microtransactions and shove em. I want my "trading card game" back without having to deal with face to face.

Every mono-black I faced here is a discard deck. The blue black is also mostly discard. It's a small sample, but enough to make me worry. This wasn't happening this bad yesterday. At least yesterday, I played against somewhat of a variety of decks.

That is three times in a row since I posted this that I have had to concede because it was a discard deck. This is ridiculous. Give me good games! I don't care if I lose if it was a good game... but not this BS that doesn't allow me to play at all.

This is ridiculous. I'm not making very many bad calls in my games, obviously, as I am now Mythic 88/89%. I started Mythic at 93% I have a short period of good games whether won or lost... followed by a losing streak that is broken only by one win. Now, I may be exaggerating here, as there is no way I can remember every detail, but I had to play second nearly every game there AND I either got mana/creature starved or Mana/non-creature spell flooded.
I am tired of feeling like I am being screwed over by the system.

aaaaaaand... it seems to be happening right now. Up to Diamond tier 1 fourth lit up. Needed 2 more games for mythic and got slapped with 3 losses in a row with all of them being mana starved.
Thanks in advance! Not expecting anything, though. After all, both the matchmaking and shuffling system have been being complained about for a long time and I see nothing happening to fix it. And it isn't even the fact that I am losing. I love close games and not so close games. But getting waffle-stomped three games in a row because my lands that have 40-43ish% chance to show up never get drawn. I had one game where All I got were my instants and sorceries. Only 2-3 lands and no creatures. I was able to put a few rabbits on the field but everything gets removed nearly every turn. Man I hate denial/discard/exile decks where that is all they do... destroy, exile, steal, and force you to discard everything so you can't DO anything. Your agency as a player is taken away by these decks.

So... I guess I came here 3 years later to make the same complaint. I guess they really just do not care about their player base. I also saw my matchmaking become completely broken once I dumped money into this game AND I saw it get broken again when I initially placed Mythic (93%). I really enjoy playing my W Tokens and W Auras deck, but if all I am ever going to face is denial decks, why am I even here?
