    This also occurs when cards from one's graveyard or exile are available for casting such as with many exiled cards under Valgavoth Terror Eater or many graveyard cards with Hades Sorcerer of Eld.

    Once while using Hades Sorcerer of Eld, another card in play required that I discard a card. Since my cards in hand were all the way to the left, I was unable to select any for discarding and needed to wait for the timer to run out and allow a random card to be discarded.
