    I had the same problem; the options weren't appearing. Instead, it said "#N Translation needed." I have the game in Latin American Spanish. After the "Hobbit" patch, it doesn't let me choose at all.
    I didn't try it in English, but it seemed like a translation issue; now it's worse.
