    They must have bundled an invalid D3D12 after the recent update. try renaming the D3D12 folder in the game install to D3D12_Backup.

    for ref here is my eventvwr error and dxdiag for this issue

    i had a similar issue. in the install folder, try renaming the D3D12 folder to D3D12_Backup. I think they bundled an invalid D3D12Core.dll in a recent update
