    For those who are still stuck in matchmaking purgatory, try this:

    1. Use the "Sign out everywhere" feature found on your WotC account page.
    2. After being signed out of everything, I recommend waiting 30 minutes to an hour before attempting to sign back in to MTG Arena.

    This is what I did to resolve the issue. Hopefully this helps, or WotC is able to resolve the issue on their end.

    May my fellow brothers and sisters find their way through matchmaking purgatory and join us once more upon the battlefield!

    Hurray! After 12+ hours, I have been released from matchmaking purgatory!

    It has been a couple hours since I made the post, and I am still stuck in the matchmaking queue... WotC... please release me from purgatory lol.
