    Hi I've just had this same problem last night. A friend in the USA (I'm in Africa) was able to log into my account from the US. Nothing I've tried works, and i think I've tried all the recommendations. I'm using windows 10. I'm busy trying to remove any recent software installed since August to see if that helps.

    I have found this after some research:

    I may have located the issue, I am not sure. MTG Arena is downloading data into C:\Program Files\Wizards of the Coast\MTGA\MTGA_Data\Downloads\AssetBundle while the "Waiting for server" circle keeps looping. So at least something is happening.

    There are files streaming in continuously.

    It seems as though the game is waiting for a download to complete, maybe this is some kind of background update? Most of the files appear to be 176KB large as they come in.

    The AssetBundleFolder is nearly 12Gb large and is increasing. The reddit link suggested just waiting the process out.

    Perhaps this is correct or perhaps something is wrong. I will feedback later again after everything hopefully finishes.

    Ok it is finished. I guess it took about an hour and a half to complete from when it started. Faster internet speeds will help! I think im 10Mbps but maybe only 4Mbps! :(.
