    Hello everyone !

    Since the latest "Innistrad" update which happened minutes ago, I can't log in to my account.
    I've tried the usual solutions (restarting the game, the computer, re-installing the game...) and nothing seems to fix the problem.

    I'd like to know if there is a real solution to this issue because I'm starting to be a little annoyed by all the successive bugs there has been recently... I hope someone can hear my plight and answer it quickly. Thanks in advance.

    Hello once more !

    As long as the mainstream solution (repeated over and over, in every possible order) still doesn't work, I gave a try to arthur#62034's solution. I downloaded the AkSoundEngine.dll (the one from January, not the one included in the update) file and replaced the one from the update with it, and it still doesn't work, but the Log changes.

    Before the replacement I had the line :
    [1] Plugins: Failed to load 'D:/Magic the Gathering - Arena/MTGA/MTGA_Data/Plugins/AkSoundEngine.dll' with error 'The specified module could not be found.

    Since the replacement of the new file with an older one, I have :
    [1] Failed to load 'D:/Magic the Gathering - Arena/MTGA/MTGA_Data/Plugins/AkSoundEngine.dll', expected x86 architecture, but was x64 architecture. You must recompile your plugin for x86 architecture.

    Now, it's a pity, because I'm running MTGA on a windows 8.1 (therefore 64 bit architecture, actually mentioned everywhere else) machine... So it's a start, but not a solution...
    I really do hope that someone at MTGA customer service is going to read this, and help, because I'm still trying to play on a crappy laptop, and trying to reach the few victories I need before the end of the season...

    Hello again !

    I understand the solution of downloading and installing the three C++ plugins seems to work for a majority of people, but it doesn't solve my problem. I've uninstalled-installed the game (with the classic executable or the msi) and the plugins (in every possible order) several times, and the black screen is still occuring to me...

    I also tried launching MTGA on a laptop, which I normally use for work, but is totally out of date, and hurray, it works, but the sluggishness of this laptop almost prevents me from having fun when playing (animations so slow that the timer appears before each of my turns), so I can't keep playing on this... I really wish I could play normally on my PC...

    So, please, is there another workaround that WILL actually work to play in good conditions.

    Hello everyone !
    I have experienced the same black screen problem since the latest update (03/12), and can't seem to get over it !
    I've tried every aforementioned solution, and nothing seems to work on my computer, can anybody provide other info that could prove useful, pretty please !!!
