    This exact same thing happened to me. I blocked a 6/5 trample (pirate peddlers, which also had deathtouch) with a 1/1 ally token. I waited until end of combat so if my razor rings was stopped by a trick or something, I wouldn't take more damage. I entered full control after blocks were declared, then damage happened, but it skipped my end of combat without letting me cast razor rings to deal another 4 damage to finish the creature off.
