When I attempted to play a game using a deck with unsanctioned lands in it, the art showed the sleeve (in hand) or after mulliganing, did not show up at all (blank spot in hand).
When I went to inspect the deck in the deck builder, the lands had the "missing art" graphic, and I could not locate my unsanctioned basic lands in my collection to add to any deck.
