Life total starting at 40
Is anyone else's companion app consistently starting at 40 during fnm or other sanctioned events (not during the free play life counter, I know how to change that)

This happens to me too, across app versions and events. Is it possibly only on iOS? I played someone last weekend who had never had the problem on an Android.

Yes, every time I reset life total for the 2nd match for draft events.
