To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.



Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

    Bonjour Équipe de Wizard,
    Je pense que beaucoup de joueurs vous remercie pour les jeux que vous nous proposez et vois le temps de travail que vous faite pour toujours être autant créatif.
    Mais je voudrais revenir sur votre application Companion que les joueurs de Magic doit sûrement utiliser. Votre application est bien faite, que ce soit pour de l'organisation de partie ou les points de vie. Mais je pense que vous pouvez aller plus loin pour la recherche de cartes, comme par exemple pour la langue. Pour ceux qui utilise votre application, dans n'importe quelle pays, certain n'utilise pas…

  2. View different versions of a card from the same set

    When look threw newer cards and I come across one with an alt-art/borderless, that’s the only one I can see of that set. It would be nice if in the set occurrences list, there would be separate options for main and special art cards. (ex. Abundant Harvest would have MH2(1) for the main and MH2(2) for the special art)

  3. “Historic” isn’t a filtererable search option

    If I want to net deck in my spare time I can’t use the card database to build a historic legal deck because historic isn’t a format option, can we make this happen?

    Make the app remember my password better. I have to use Forgot Password nearly every week

  5. Host ending event early

    How is it okay for an event organizer to end events early without asking anyone? Our store The Wizards Chest in Denver CO decided to end after 3 rounds and offered no reason. This effected my ranking and my prize, they offered nothing in return

  6. Star of extinction and temple of altisaur ruling

    Its more a question on ruling if you have temple of altisaur out and you cast star of extinction does everything die or if you have dinosaurs out does only temple of altisaur die?

  7. settings

    please offer any kind of settings to "slim down" the app for older phones, it keeps crashing and lagging and not displaying things fully (only halfway slides in) and requires to be restarted for just about any match. I'd even take just white font on black color if only it would properly work then.

  8. Some cards cant be found if filtered by their format

    Cards like for example Sanctifier (as shown on the attached file) dont come up while doing a card search if filtered by MODERN format. This shouldnt happen as the card is modern legal

  9. companion app on Android is very slow

    First of all: it's a great app that is very useful for events! Its functions work pretty good.

    But ...
    The app is generally very slow.
    it's slow on startup. it takes many seconds (like 5-10 seconds) to start the app and start doing something with it. I don't understand why an app like this should be this slow on startup.
    it's also very slow and laggy when navigating around, especially when I'm at an event and I'm navigating my pairings or standings and such.
    It's actually annoyingly slow. And I have a very powerful smartphone (Google Pixel 2 XL).…

  11. End Match Confirmation

    At the end of the match, I didn't receive a notification after my opponent entered our score for the round. There was no confirmation that what they entered was correct. I thought there was supposed to be a two way authentication process.

  12. Need ability to manually repair

    Manually pairing players to fix an oopsie in recording a result or an error in the software is more frequent and important than it is being given.
    Just because some TOs use it improperly is not justification to remove that functionality from people who use it correctly.
    Repairing an entire round because of 1-2 messups is exceptionally disruptive, and a negative player experience that is being created by this lack of functionality.

  13. Add Turn Timer

    I have been looking for a turn timer for magic for about a decade. One that could be used in group games as well as tournaments. In casual play it helps move the game along and keeps those players that just talk through there turn more focused and in tournaments it can keep track of how long someone is taking on their turn. I have lost so many games to people who purposely play slow to force a draw.

  14. das spiel schmiert regelmäßig ab

    es gibt unzählige updates, die ewig brauchen und danach schmiert dass spiel nur um so häufiger ab oder andere fehler treten auf
    (das ist schon seit monaten so!!!), deshalb,
    scheist die nutzlosen volldeppen, die für die spiel wartung verantwortlich sind einfach raus und ersetzt sie durch affen, dass resultat wäre wohl das selbe (das spiel läuft nicht normal!!) nur billiger in sachen bezahlung

    das ist mein voller ernst arschtritt, rausschmeisen und jm. einstellen der es kan!!!!

  15. Host options as guest not available

    It’s not possible to adjust the tournament options when hosting as guest.
    When clicking on hosting as guest you can enter players. But going back to adjust the options it jumps to the host start page. Dead loop.

    Still an issue with the newest app on iOS as of 4th October 2020.
