1. Lost gear

   4. i was playing with him and we did many missions, randomly on mission completion he would be kicked from the session and when he loaded into his own instance he had lost ALL of his gear, ALL his crystals, ALL his money, and all upgrades to usuable and abilities. that was about a week ago. Tonight (2021-07-03 12:40AM) i attempted to load into the game and was not able to access the map nor hit the training dummies in the camp, so i transferred host to one of my party members and they loaded a match up, we went to the teleporter, and it dropped me through the map and kicked me out. when i loaded back into camp i had lost EVERYTHING except level and upgrades to my moveset and feats. but gear, crystals, money, usables, abilities. everything else was gone.

2. Exposive Barrel Icons Change to Dwarven Runestones when Repsawning and Between Missions

   1. I encountered this issue on PC
   2. I was playing ALONE
   3. I was playing as DRIZZT
   4. When I respawn while holding explosive barrels, the icons on my HUD will often change to a dwarven runestone. Any newly acquired barrels will appear as barrels (at least until I respawn again).

   Additionally, sometimes if I do not use all the barrels in a mission (such as The Face of Kelvin), I will see dwarven runestones on my HUD at the Shrine of Kelvin in between missions, and they appear to carry over to the next mission (this was most noticeable when running The Face of Kelvin back-to-back).

3. Font size and HUD size issues

   The font is incredibly small and hard to read, especially in the menu, the objectives on the HUD, and the lore objects/bios in the notebook. Please add some sort of option to adjust this so I can play without straining my eyes or sitting right next to the TV.

   Also, the upper-right corner of the HUD where my objectives are hangs off the screen and gets cut off. It's not normally an issue, unless there are optional objectives and I can't see how many Dwarven Mugs I have to gather or how many weapons racks/supply carts I have to destroy. It would be nice to have an option to adjust the HUD size to fit on different screens.

4. Lore objects fix please

   With the newest patch i was heavily disappointed. Please fix the lore objects trophy/achievement. It's the last thing i need to complete the game. I know completing a game might not be important to you, but think of the players

5. Just some thoughts

   wanted to make a couple suggestions that I'm sure you already heard about. Not sure if this will matter to the team however I figured I'd try.

   The dwarf is a great idea as a tank how ever his taunt abilities are just that. An ability. I feel it should be a stamina ability as to be a proper tank. One needs to be able to continuously taunt.

   The second is having a way to re-spec your character attributes. Even if it's extremely costly in gold and material. as I've made 3 of each character type now just so I could find the right build.

6. Player kicking during campaign do not provide you with game ended loot

   So I’m in the middle of a campaign with 3 other randoms on the PS4, we were in the middle of the campaign fighting the bosses , I initiated the fight sequence and I guess the leader didn’t like that I started the boss fight and proceeded to kick me out . I’m ok with it because they seem like they were trying to do other things . Now my problem is this I obtain loot and money . Where is it I went to my cashe in based I didn’t receive anything. So I spent 20-30 min dungeon crawling with randoms and I have nothing to show for it . Please tell me how this is a legit feature I’m assuming. Because this can cause grieving among party leaders kicking people out mid dungeon. I’m actually mad about the fact that I still didn’t get anything from that dungeon after being kick mid game .

7. Movement & Attacks

   I encountered this bug on the PS4 on a solo game as Wulfgar. In several battles, I found that the movement and attack buttons do not respond at times. For example, when battling Hagador, the toon would not roll away no matter how many times I pressed the button.

8. Movement Issues

   Dear Customer Service, i want to report a problem. From the beginning (since release) i habe a major control problem. It is not possible to control my toon in normal way, because the control is hooky. No one of my friends have the same problem. I installed the game allready new, but the problem is still there. Further bugs like a still standing toon or loading times like hell are permanently happend. Pls could you help me out? Because i would like to perfer to play the gane and not only to watch by my friends.

9. Suggestion - Combat Feedback

   I apologize for the length of this, but I have found this issue needlessly frustrating and I knew this was going to be too long for the general feedback page. As this is something that generally belongs there, if this is ignored I will not take offense. I just want to get this out there; though a reply would be appreciated.

   In this game, there are some major issues with user input (at least with controllers, I am not using mouse and keyboard, though I would bet the issues I'll lay out are the same). As far as I can tell, all of them (with the exception of any caused by multiplayer lag) break down into issues in not checking the state of a given input. I'll give some examples here so that means something. I'll be using Xbox controller inputs in these examples.

   1. Aiming down sight:
      While aiming (something you do more with Catti than anyone), moves in your list still apply. So while aiming down sight (holding left trigger) then pushing left stick forward and hitting right bumper, you will do the "Viper Fang Kick" move. It appears when detecting that move from the inputs, it does not check to see if the left trigger is down and it should. If this is by intent, fair enough, there are more examples here. I would contend that while aiming down sight, the moves (considering there are none that state to hold left trigger down) should not apply. If this is the intent, I highly recommend adding that check and giving the user the option to disable moves while aiming down sight.

   2. Hold button attacks
      Between the characters, there are several attacks for holding a particular input (right trigger or right bumper with default controls). From what I can tell, the detection of these attacks starting is based on when the button or trigger moves from neutral to down. That would normally be fine, but, this game (rightfully so) has code to mitigate the input of button mashers, so inputs will be ignored when an animation is playing. (EX: if you hit right bumper 3 times, then right trigger, then right bumper before the first animation plays, you will do 2 right bumper attacks back to back, ignoring the other inputs).

   Because of the code that will ignore additional input, what will happen very consistently is that you hold right trigger, then release to do the attack, then hold right trigger again a little too early and your character does nothing. For a hold button or trigger attack, the attack detection should be able to start with both "right trigger neutral to down" and "right trigger is down". Right now in my testing it clearly appears to be the former alone which leads to ignored inputs and frustrated players.

   1. Button combination attacks This one is a little more foggy as I would need to see the actual input detection to know this 100%, however, I think my guess is close and this is something that needs to be addressed whether I'm right or wrong in the reason behind the flaw.

   Button combination attacks (Y+B or A+X) are VERY finicky. A lot of the time instead of doing the attack that is triggered by A+X, you will just jump (just A). Same for the team attacks (Y+B) where you will often dodge (B) or use an ability (Y). I've played many a game that uses combination inputs, but they are generally much better at giving some leeway in the timing. If I were to guess, for an A+X attack, when one or the other goes from neutral to down, the game checks right then in the same cycle if the other is down. I'm not sure if you guys call the internal refresh rate of the game a cycle, that's just how I was taught long ago. Generally speaking a cycle is a very small amount of time so unless the user input is tiny fractions of a second precise, the game will take one button or the other instead of the combination as the desired input.

   My recommendation here is to give multiple cycles instead of the one (or more if the game is already using more than one) to give some timing leeway so users are less frustrated.

   Alright, that's the end of my lengthier than planned note. If you want any logs, please let me know, but given the subject being addressed, I figured those probably wouldn't be looked at regardless. 11. Climb interaction UI bugged out

    Climb interact option became permanently stuck on screen. Climbed a ladder and about 3 seconds later after moving off it appeared and stayed until party respawn.

12. Failed to join session/cannot progress; loot and exp lost at the end of missions

    Notes:
    1. I encountered this issue on PC.
    2. I was playing with my boyfriend. Both on PC.
    3. I was playing as Drizzt, he was playing as Bruenor.
    4. There really isn't a work around, or at least not one that we've found.

    Steps:
    Running through the missions; playing the game as normal.

    Result:
    Upon completing the mission, we look at the rewards, we both press enter and hold to take us back to town. Except I never go. Tells me "failed to join session" when the countdown stops and never does anything more.
    I can hit esc and leave, but tells me I will lose all progress.

    I tried closing the game through ending the process, but had no progress when I logged in - no loot, no attribute points (from the shrine in the mission), and my boyfriend keeps getting ahead of me in experience because he's keeping his for completion, and I am not.

    This has happened 3/4 times and thusly has become unplayable for me. I tried solo to catch us back up, but it's so slow and not really enjoyable as a solo player so I just quit playing the game. I legitimately cannot progress any further.

    We love the series and would love to play the game, but boyfriend tried last night on his own on Wolfgar and got stuck, and was forced to force quit losing an hour's worth of progress.

    Expected Result:
    I would end up in town with my loot and rewards from completing the mission.

    Or that it would try again to send us to town in 30 seconds/1min, but once it tries the one time, that's it. You go or you lose progress.

    Maybe a "Finish mission" button that pops up at the end that we can trigger, that we can hit again if we "fail to join session". Something.

13. Reverted to, and trapped @ lvl 1

    Got the game on Gamepass, PC. I was playing online as CB with 3 randoms. We ran Emperor a handful of times to bring me from level 5 - 14.

    Progression was normal, fun actually. However once I hit 14 and returned to camp my character was reverted to level 1. All of my loot remained, so I tried starting over. I've now completed 2 dungeons, and I am still stuck at level one with no experience gain. Please help :(

    Update: Tried loading in after restarting PC in hopes it would help, now I cannot launch game. Error "No applicable app licenses found". Reinstalling now.

    Update: Character was still at level 1 on startup with all previous gear, and spent feats/abilities. Fortunately after running a dungeon I leveled from 1-5 with all associated bonuses granted. I do feel bad that my character will be broken in such an advantageous way, as I'll have spent 14 more ability/feat points than a player who experienced a normal playthrough.

    A few ideas for why this might have happened:
    -I noticed another bug report of the same nature that also affected Catie-Brie. Our characters had a seemingly identical feat & move build, so maybe one of those caused this?
    -Right before the bug occurred I went into a dungeon with two unspent level increases. Maybe having too many previous, unspent level rewards could cause this?
    -Given the timing, I cannot help but wonder if the license issue somehow is related to this. I play through a PC Gamepass subscription, so maybe some files didn't transfer properly between system and cloud?
    -I don't know what I'm talking about, so I hope this isn't a waste of your time. I truly love this game, even with the flaws it may have, and want to help improve :)

14. Bugs/feedback/suggestions

    Let me start off by saying (I am no professional btw) I do enjoy the game, and I like the overall frame or structure and intention of the game. I would just like to include things I think need work and what I'd personally would like to see. #1 the delay between hitting the select and start/pause button is very noticable and unlikable. There is delay when trying to access the menus from both the select button and start button. It is tolerable but I believe it'd be rather likeable for a responsive and non-delaying reaction between these inputs. #2 There also seems to be a bit of lag whenever a lot of events is taking place, for example, when you are with other players and are fighting together a decently packed number of enemies and you all use your abilities and certain frame capturing moves, it can get hectic and cause a bit of lag. Now I know internet connection, and old gen vs new gen can play a factor. But I think a little bit of work with the games stability to those things would help. #3 There seems to be a bug when quest items like the explosive Barrell to open the pathway to progress through the act(mission) or dungeon seems to be unresponsive to the action(collect) button. There have been plenty of times through my playthroughs the (ex.) Barrell doesn't allow me to collect it and just floats there, and I end up having to back up, wait a minute or so, and then I'm able to pick it up. This could definitely use some work. #4 There have been disconnection issues in terms of after finishing an act(mission) a player in the lobby gets disconnected out of nowhere. A similar bug that has been happening, is when an act(mission) gets completed, multiple times I have been loaded in as a level 1, fresh version of my active character, and with no loot from the completed act(mission), and I'm forced to leave my party of players and then rejoin them. #5 I'm not sure what causes it, but there have been times and I believe it's mostly after loading out of a cutscene, my character is unable to attack or block, only evade and dodge. Overall those are most bugs I've encountered and feel like they are achievable to fix. For suggestions I have a few things in mind that I would love to see in the game. #1 more characters in the future. #2 the ability to upgrade each characters abilities. #3 an option to respec or in other words re-establish your attributes points (say I wanted to put more strength on a character but reached max level and can't undo any attribute points). #4 more levels and dungeons. #5 higher level or skill cap. Overall these are suggestions I would love to see come in the future to keep me playing for a long time.

15. Unable to collect quest items

    1. I encountered this issue on Xbox Series X
    2. I was playing Friends (one time with a full party, 2 other times with a party of 3)
    3. I was playing as Drizzit
    4. We have tried: (1) Doing a party kill (2) Advancing to another checkpoint and choosing Short Rest (3) Having members disconnect from the party (4) Restarting the mission completely (and losing everything) (5) Spamming Collect around the object (6) Spamming Insert at item insertion point. (7) Attacking the collection item (8) running all the way back to the beginning of the level as a party (9) Having the party leader run back and the rest of us teleported to him

    Steps:
    Multiple instances now we have had a mini boss (trolls, verbeegs, etc) drop an item for quest progression (barrels and levers) and even after multiple attempts to collect it, it does not allow us to progress. This means we lose all of our drops, XP, gold, and time that we have invested. Even when exiting the mission and going back in to start over, it has repeated itself. It affects the entire party. Happened with trolls at the last checkpoint before the boss in Halls of the Duergar, as well as the 2nd checkpoint during Verbeeg Act 1

    Result:
    Unable to pick up necessary items for quest progression. Unable to complete mission.

    Expected Result:
    To be able to finish the mission as intended.

16. On my Xbox series X I am stuck in the offline part, it will not let me connect to other players or select and online server at all

    I was playing on my Xbox series x and I’m stuck in offline mode, it will not do anything when you select to play online, my friends have the original Xbox one and they can link no problems it’s frustrating please help

17. Suggestion - Adjust Dodge Timings

    Hello. First off I just want to say that I am a big fan of D&D, specifically the Legend of Drizzt timeline.

    I purchased the deluxe edition of Dark Alliance. I knew coming into the game that it definitely wouldn't be like the older models of Dark Alliance. I purchased the game for PS4. I have encountered a considerable amount of lag and freezing. The pause button take anywhere between 2-3 seconds to register offline. And for combat, though I love the direction you all have taken. The dodging is a little frustrating. I would expect to be able to disengage from a combo at anytime by using dodge however waiting for the animation to play out first us causing quite of bit of problem. Will there be any modification to the dodge timing or lag for the offline sessions. I am enjoying the game but I feel I could be enjoying it more for a hack n slash action game. Other then that. It's very good.

18. More cutscenes of the heroes in action

    Pre and post mission cutscenes of the actual heroes in action should improve the flow of the story considerably. As opposed to simple narrations, and villain only cutscenes.

19. No rewards after completing a mission( players get stuck in mission or loot screen)

    Platform :ps4 ( game session invite only or friends only)

    Players: Cattie Brie , Bruenor and Drizzt

    Problem: after completing a mission some players get stuck in the mission or in loot menu preventing them from getting the rewards .

    Workaround: we found a workaround , if at least a player get ported back to the Kelvin's Cairn , the remaining players who are trapped in the dungeon or loot screen can either join this player by accessing join session in playstation menu or getting a fresh new party invite from party management. Most of the times it works but much patience is required since loading are very long and the game is not suppose to work that way.

20. knockdown recovery

    Playing as Cattie-Bri mostly. When I'm knocked down, the time for me to stand back up/recover takes a seemingly long time. Such that, a single enemy can get multiple hits on. It's a practical wipe once she's on the ground since there is no invulnerability once on the ground. Enemies even have time to walk up to her and strike. A particular cult enemy, the standard melee ones have a long-*** jump attack that'll knock her down. Is there a skill or button timing to get back up faster? Cause I'm about done with this game because of how ****** I'm getting from repetitive wipes with this impossible to recover issue. The other characters seem to do the same, but haven't played them much.
