Before You Create a New Report


Before creating a new report, please enter the issue in the Issue Title field below to see if your issue has already been reported. It is a good idea to limit this to a few key words, like a device name or specific feature.

Example: webcam not found (Note: Partial words may not bring up results, we recommend to try webcam instead of cam or web cam)

If your issue has been reported already, click the VOTE button so that we know you've experienced that bug as well. You can also leave a comment if you'd like to add to the conversation about that bug or provide additional information you think might be useful.

Additional Information to Provide


You can provide additional information that can also help us perform an investigation quickly. Great information to include:
  1. The brand, model, and/or type of device you’re using (USB webcam, Android/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, etc.)
  2. The version or your operating system you’re using (i.e.: Windows 10, MacOS Big Sur, Android 11, iOS 14, etc.)
  3. Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
  4. A screenshot of the issue or any error messaging received (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
  5. The last are simple checks for any camera/microphone issues you might encounter:
  • Ensured permission has been granted for your Camera and Microphone through your preferred browser: Use your camera & microphone
  • Ensured that no other programs are using your Camera or Microphone (you can find information on how to perform this check by searching online)
  • Temporarily disabling any Anti-Virus programs that might disable camera and microphone access (even if you’re already granted it)
  • Tested your camera is working with Online Mic Test

  1. Webcam Too Dark.

    I am having and issue with my video being too dark. The issue is the same on Firefox, andChrome. I've used the camera on a different laptop and it works fine. If I go to a different webpage( https://webcamtests.com/ ) the video feed is nice and bright. It's only on spelltable. I've cleared my cookies, and that didn't help either.

  3. mobile camera countered

    When I sync my phone up as a mobile webcam through both the QR code and the link, it just says on my phone that the lobby already has the max occupancy in it. I don't know why, but it seems to be treating my phone as it's own person, not as a mobile webcam. I also tried with my friend's phone and that didn't work either. I've rebooted laptop, but that didn't fix it.

  4. Camera bug for in game. Spelltable.

    my camera works perfectly fine in all instances including discord, skype, even the pre join section of the game that shows your display. after going into the game it remains black.

    command console shows error of it repeatedly retrying to bring it up and failing.

  5. When Playing outside of my own created lobbies I cannot use my phone as a camera

    When I create a lobby for myself and friends, I am able to use my phone as a camera no problem.

    However if I join a friend's lobby, it will attempt to sign me in through my phone and have that as my primary browser instead of my laptop.

    Is there any way to fix this?

  6. C920 Logi Webcam Issues

    First time I loaded into spelltable, although slow, it worked, and I was able to play a few games with friends. Now the match page takes 5 minutes to load, and when it does, Im always met with a permissions denied error. I checked my permissions, they say my camera is allowed, I made sure nothing else (like ghub or obs) was grabbing the feed either, still no. I change my browser and make sure permissions are working there, still spelltable does not work. I even restarted my pc with the same issue. I see quite a few more users…

  7. Cannot use smart device for additional camera.

    My friends and I were facing issues with using our phone/ipad as additional camera for spelltable. It seems to be some issue with the generated QR code/website.

  8. Spelltable camera issues (blue pixilated area)

    Got a new document camera, and it works great in everything but spell table. There is an area on the left where there is a blue pixilated bar. Attachments are using the camera in Discord vs Spell Table

  9. Camera out of focus only on Spelltable, not in OBS

    Spelltable (or Google Chrome) seems to do this weird additional autofocus on my cards. See screenshot: Background is Spelltable, foreground is OBS.

    Using Logitech c920 but I also had this on my phone and a Trust webcam.

  10. Virtual Webcam Not Working

    Computer: macOS Monterey version 12.5
    Browser: Chrome

    I use an OBS (Streamlabs OBS) to stream games. A month ago I learned that I could use the Virtual Webcam option on the OBS to stream a digital deck on Moxfield or Archideckt to spelltable. So, instead of my desktop camera being used to stream my actual cards so all players could see my cards, I learned I could stream my digital versions of the deck from a deckbuilding site strain to spelltable.

  11. Low Camera Resolution

    Hello, i had tried out the mobile camera feature on spelltable. Originally it was working fine and the camera streams fine, however recently it started to become very pixelated, to the point of unplayablility.

    Tested out other mobile to pc webcam services displays the streams fine, so i don't think that it is an issue with my mobile device

  12. Camera Stuck in 4:3 Aspect Ratio

    I have an Ifroo 1080P webcam that is showing up as a 4:3 aspect ratio on Spelltable instead of 16:9.

    I am not able to change it, despite the settings on my PC showing it as 16:9.

  13. Can't see other player's camera

    I was trying to play with 3 more friends today (10/18), and I saw only my camera. The other players camera was all black. I've reset my PC and nothing worked. Please, fix this bug 😢

  16. Unable to Use Phone as Webcam

    My play group and I have tried to use our phones as webcams for this. And it works awesome for the host of the room.
    However who ever is invited and tries to use their phone has issues. The whole site transfers to the phone and the site on the computer doesn't function. The display, camera, microphone all gets routed through the phone.
    We have a wide mix of android and apple devices and it happens for all of us.
    Is there anything we can do about this? We have tried for a few hours to fix it but have…

  17. Camera Turns Off

    I have a problem with Spelltable.
    I got a brand new webcam today (Logitech C270) and it keeps turning itself off after being about 30-60 minutes in a lobby.
    I then tried the webcam with the Discord Desktop App and it worked fine there.
    After that I tested the webcam with the Discord Web App, to maybe figure out if webapplications in general have a problem with this webcam, but it worked there fine too.
    I tried SpellTable with this camera in Firefox and in Chrome, both having the same result.

  18. Phone Camera Stuck on Loading Screen

    Hey! I've been trying to connect my phone to spelltable and everything works fine until I press join game, for some reason when it starts loading in I get stuck on a blank page and it doesn't show my camera anymore but my phone is saying spelltable is using it. Not sure if it's my phone or is it something with the site?

  19. Camera Inverted

    Hi,

    It's been for months now that you can't type the letter F in Spelltable. Neither in the Search Function nor when entering your commanders name.
    In addition to this for a few days now when I try to flip anyones camera (including mine) it just gets vertically mirrored instead. The Result is a mirror-inverted picture of the board. It also seems that the Cardscanner is not able to scan Cards that are inverted like this.

  20. Players Unable to See Each Other

    I meant to add that this is happening while both of us are on our phones. For some reason he can see himself in the window and is able to see me but I am unable to see him. We've tried everything to resolve with no luck. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
