    Still a black screen on start-up and no workable fix nearly a week later. Laptop with Windows 7; apparent problem with AkSoundEngine.dll file. I wish the new set had never released, because before I could at least play.

    Unable to load the game at all, even after the latest "fix" -- I'm just presented with a black screen and cursor, no matter how long I wait or how many times I try, as administrator, etc. Redownloading, updating Visual C++, replacing AkSoundEngine.dll, and other suggested fixes have not made a difference. I've been playing Magic for over two decades and Arena almost daily since Beta, and I was excited for the new set release, but not even being able to load the game as a result of technical issues has left me extremely disappointed.

    Hello, I get a black screen with a cursor every time I load the game (tried reinstalling, but to no avail). When I check C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizards of the Coast, there are no files visible, so I can't use my usual fix for this issue (to replace AkSoundEngine.dll).
