    Set a stop in your upkeep and it will let you respond to the Pact trigger. This should become muscle memory to anyone playing Charbelcher.

    Its not bugged, the deck design uses MDFC cards where the front of the card is a nonland.

    You can set a stop in your upkeep step and you will be able to respond with Pact trigger on the stack without relying on full control.
