Since the release of Alchemy it has become impossible to progress in ranked play beyond Platinum. Irrespective of the decks I play in the standard format, I am constantly being matched against players that either have dream curves or are ably assisted by the shuffler either providing me with 9 lands in my first 12 cards or ensuring I don't get my 3rd land drop until turn 5. In the last 2 days I have played 41 games and de-ranked from Platinum 3 (5) to Platinum 4 (0) and only wining 14 of those games on ladder. That's a 14:27 loss rate. I'm not the worlds greatest player, but I'm not a complete muppet either. Fix your game before your cynical money grubbing approach of trying to push people into your idiotic Alchemy format completely trashes Wizards reputation.

The clusterfcuk that is arena matchmaking/shuffling continues...
Today, played 32 games on BO1 ladder and lost 22. in 18 of those losses, I either failed to make my 3rd land-drop until turn 5 or later, or, had 8 lands in the first 12 cards. Opponents always curve out. This is just today. It's a pattern that repeats itself week after week after week; but fret not, this is just representative of normal statistical play patterns. Also, apparently, everybody else on arena only plays Selesnya Enchantments, Gruul or Boros and are such bad players that they are always allowed to go first.
