Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

Third time posting about this...guarantee I'm not the only one. 8 rounds....I went 8 rounds without getting a land 61 card deck 24 lands. Fix your shuffler!

基本的にいつもハンデがあるくらいに唱えにくい。
相手のランクが低いほど、唱えにくいが、ミシック相手ですら、ハンデを背負っている感覚。
大体、土地 クリーチャー 非クリーチャーのどれかが少ないパターン、
土地が異様に引けないか、土地ばかりのパターン、
序盤に相手の除去呪文がかたより、こちらのクリーチャーが引きにくいパターン、
からの中だるみにそこから土地が連続するパターンが多い様子。

Already posting about it but posting again! Its crazy! I just had a game where I did not draw a land in 8 turns! 60 card deck 24 lands. It needs to be fixed. At least acknowledge theres a problem.

Are you guys "modifying " win rates? Ever since hand smoothing came in I have noticed a very alarming trend. Everytime I get 2 wins , the shuffler starves me for land and fills my hand with the biggest cmc cards in my deck. I would say it's just a bad game but it happens almost everytime I hit 2 wins in a row. I know match making is supposed to place you against decks that counter yours when you start winning a lot but most of my decks are nothing like the meta decks. And the odds of a hand being dealt like that are well over 100, 000 to 1 so happening almost every day is a little ridiculous as my deck has way more land then it should and the average cmc is 2-3 , so getting mana starved and ending up with the only 5 cards in my deck that are 5+ in an 80 card deck is pretty far fetched. And the other thing is are you going to offer a format for those of us who do not want hand smoothing but don't really have the time to play Bo3, or are we just supposed to move on because you can't/won't provide us with something ?

Fix the shuffler
12 losses in a row to getting colour screwed mana screwed or flooded is a joke
While my opponents have perfect draws so are the games predetermined
This needs sorting as paper magic which I play competitively is nothing like this when really it should be the perfect mirror and good for testing whereas right now it's a joke and not worth the time and money -

WotC, you need to work on your randomizer. There are literally statisical impossibilities happening with your shuffling. Consistent mana flooding or mana ***** or drawing all 4 copies of a card in a opening hand. Nearly statisically impossible.

not random at all , you either get a free win or a free loss and its dictated by how much money you spend on a game that is supposedly free to play , how convenient having online magic rigged so that you have to play paper magic not to get 10+ lands in 15 cards or 3 lands in 15 with the same deck and the same amount of lands on it, 80% of the games are either ***** or flood for either player how is this math or shuffler working ? and why this cant be reproduced in paper magic if the game is supposed to be the reproduction of it? not fun at all to play rigged matches one after the other win or loss

To elaborate on the obvious frustration, the shuffle algorithm has been a problem for the entirety of mtga's existance and it's been reported as a problem for the entirety of it's existance. The sheer unwillingness to fix a problem with one if not THE most fundamental system of a TCG is unforgivable.

Everyone playing the game knows that the shuffling algorithm is fundamentally flawed. And i don't know how exactly it currently works thus i can't really state precise sggestions on how to fix it but fact of the matter is that i lose a disproportional number of games to that piece of **** algorithm. I kept track over the recent few days and it was ~9/10 games that were lost to mana flooding or mana ***** and about 7/10 wins were because the opponent seemed to have the same issue. So in most games my ability to play the game isn't even tested. there's always luck involved in TCG's but that is fcking ********. There's 2 options, either make the algorithm true random, which does not represent the real shuffling but is fair. Or figure out a better way to skew the odds compared to whatever you are doin right now. Moreover it is plain as day that the odds for certain cards are being skewed considering the lack of mulligans certain archtypes need for a perfect opener which can't be justified by statistics, in other words you are clearly, statisticall undeniably promoting certain archtypes and demoting others, stop with the ********. I don't give a rats *** what you think people want to play, you're wrong. You have no idea about deckbuiilding and why we build stuff the way we do that is shown time and time again with the mental jmisssteps of R&D, just give us fun cards and an unbiased shuffling and let us do the work.
In other words true random shuffling or do a thorough analyisis of how a welll shuffeled deck looks like after a de-sorting pile shuffling and a bit of normal shuffling and being cut, aka they way we start of an in person tournament.
As it stands i will definitely never pay money again for a WotC product, not in person either, i'm sick and tired of getting ********* the *** by ****** gamedevs

Yea im also just about done with this game, i make a deck that gets my to mid diamond but all of a sudden i cant draw any cards I need, losing to decks that shouldnt be a problem, no mana or all mana. Its ridiculous... and ive bought the mastery pass which besides being a waste of money doesnt change my win rate(except seemingly negatively) Also i dont understand how i can have a deck that wins regularly in diamond then after the season i used the same deck in gold and get destroyed 10 times in a row. Im not soending anymore money until something improves.

If I play a green deck I see more green decks… if I play something with red, then it’s nothing but red decks. It is not random, it’s color based.

There needs to be a better shuffling system. I’m table top games after a match and cards get stacked I would simply 6 way shuffle to fix. In matches here I do get good hands and games at times but I also have many games where i get all 3/4 of a certain card, no land, all land, etc. This happens a lot more often than it ever would on tabletop. It takes away from the experience and the testing of a deck. If I can get a properly shuffled deck I can’t know how well the deck will play in real time. Please work on this.
