    After more than few days playing anyone can start catching up with the rigging. I've been around for more than a year so I can see how much of a joke it is, either when I can predict exactly how the game is going to make me win/lose or when I am matched against the same deck a dozen times in a row.

    Haven't spent money this year and will not in the next ones.

    There is a lot of abandon but they don't care. It's part of their maximize profit short-term strategy and they look for "whales" not for a steady income from a large player base. Every time there's a new release people check Arena again for 1-2 days, see it still has the garbage rigging and quit. Which is also why we are seeing so many Secret Lairs and and even an extra set this year. They are actually desperate to meet revenue projections set a few years ago.

    Good job and keep it up. The guys calling the shot at WotC an Hasbro are so dumb, I know way more people who stopped playing Arena because of the rigging than people who keep playing and spend money. Add that to the abomination that is this Standard plus stale Historic (Modern Horizons didn't change a thing) and there's little to no reason to play.

    This guy fighting me mulligan'd once and still only got a second land after turn 3. Hope he didn't waste his money on your rigged game and just used the free entry.

    Another thing of notice is whenever I spend gems (I never buy them or will ever buy them again, I get them on daily offers and duplicate protection) on events, I always get good hands/easy opponents and 7 wins, sometimes straight. Whenever I spend the coins, it's 5 wins max and ever single one hard fought.

    Arena tours involve real money, they stream it on Twitch and all. I'd get in touch with your representatives, if I were you. Stuff like this doesn't happen nationwide at first, it has to start state by state.

    I still think there's potential for a lawsuit here because they can enable and disable the rigging at will so you can never know if players in tournaments, drafts (or any other mode where you may have spent money to play) are playing under the same conditions.

    Wait till your opponent starts drawing 5 of the same card, or 2 of the same in Brawl. Last time this happened I was playing in Brawl and the guy had 2 Castle Locthwain.

    I wanted to have a laugh and tried seeing how many times in a row the opponent would be first to play, then calculate the odds. Turns out 9 times in a row is 1.76% chance, lol. Literally everything in this game is rigged.

    lol, look at this matchmaking.

    Specifically pulls a top 50 guy all the way down the ladder to play me, who just reached Diamond. All because his colorless deck is powerless to stop my Rogue from stealing his Ulamogs so he can get eff'd hard by the matchmaking and lose a lot of rank, which I'm sure some top 50 topdecker cares a lot about. Poor guy probably spent a lot of money to be treated like this.

    I understand everyone's frustration but why do you even bother posting? OP's post is almost a year old, WotC has not addressed it in the meantime and will not address it, while deleted posts clearly show this thread is being monitored.

    Just move on, the game is rigged garbage, will continue being and, once it finally stops making money, it will be thrown away and forgotten like that other recent Magic game. Or any other Magic pvp game besides Online.

    Yes, I know all of us like Magic but it's simply not worth dealing with all this hustling. Don't even play paper, because it may drag you back here. ****, even if you solely used Arena to play with friends (which is impossible to make since they purposefully hide the full names and will never implement chat), it would be still the same rigged draws and the game would not represent an actual real life game.

    Play some other game, any game that doesn't frustrate you as much as this. We all know it's rigged and since there's no point in pointing out the issue, why torture ourselves playing it? Arena is not a social experience, much less a proper representation of the paper game, it's a simple cash grab that came 4 years late (after You-Know-What-I'm-Talking-About) and it's trying to make-up for the money not made in the meantime.

    And yes, it is true. If not the rigged draws then rigged matchmaking. Try making a very niche deck like Treasure Hunting and see how long it will take for you to be matched against someone, and what kind of they they'll usually have. Or just make a new account and see how you'll usually be matched against potato decks in the beginning. Make an aggro deck? Be matched against sleep-inducing Azorius. Make a control deck? Be matched against the aggroest of aggro. Try to build something innovative and not cheese? Get 2 lands in the first 15 cards or 7 in the first 10.

    They want to hook you up, then nickel and dime you once you got all the initial freebies. I wish I had known about these things when I started to play so I wouldn't have spent a cent in this. Spread the word.

    I hope all of you didn't spend money on this sham and just bought it with gems acquired in-game, but you did actually spend money you should seek compensation asap. I didn't and I will, if it's not fixed by Innistrad.

    Just wonderful. The only reason I'm not taking further action over this fiasco is because I bought the pass with gems I got playing the game so no actual money spent, otherwise they would be hearing of me.
