I'm having the same issue, have contacted customer service directly and they just shot me a link here, twice. There's also evidence of this bug as far back as 3 years ago on reddit, as a side note.
I don't understand why this hasn't been a major bug fix instead of a "vote on the issue" problem.
Clearly, there is part of the MTG Arena community who are not experiencing the full functionality of the game, missing out and being put at a disadvantage in challenges and earning season rewards (by being unable to do so despite paying)
Something I'm quite frustrated about as well is the fact that I've paid for gems multiple times and being in Australia, out dollar is like 0.74AUD to $1USD currently. So, when I've paid $49.99USD, I'm actually paying $66.84
Even requesting directly to have what I've spent funded to a new account and closing the defected has been avoided by them just throwing out a link to here.
Why not implement a transfer for these issues? I agree with BlackDahlia42, start filing formal complaints because we're not receiving what we paid for and, as stated previous, are not receiving full advantage that other players are.
I've included screenshots of being bugged, plus evidence with them that they're multiple games via game win/loss overlay as well as my emails that have been sent directly and WOTC response.
