I've paid over 10k in gems for various premier drafts for Murders at Karlov Manor set recently. I feel games are a bit rigged as I cannot believe my cards drawn during gameplay. On paper drafts, I rarely experience this occurrence (I play drafts every FNM), but during arena gameplay, happens almost 3/4 games. I get mana flooded or mana screwed with same pile of cards in my deck. My most extreme instance was literally 3 non land cards and the rest cards drawn were land (including surveiling twice 2 lands) and ending up conceding with 12 lands and 3 non-lands during entire game. What a joke. (40 card deck - 17 lands, 23 non-lands in deck)
I want a refund of most of my gems over 13,000 (but would settle for 10k). for my drafts as this is unfair and almost predatory behavior. I don't understand how the shuffler works for these other players decks either are perfect curving out and always drawing (top-decking mostly) the exact right removal or evasion spell, and my gameplay where there is literally 10 lands in a row.
I can't give too many great examples of this, but it seems to be a common pattern-like occurrence. If you are going to "hand-smooth" these ridiculous hands, you sure as **** should fix the randomizing cards afterwards as there is some disconnect. I feel the matches are starting to seem a bit rigged/fixed to favor 1 player, and when money/gems are involved, this is toxic environment and not fair whatsoever.
