I applaud you for giving players the choice between paper-like Standard, and a dynamically-changing Standard with online-only mechanics. Letting players pick was the right decision!
Forcing Historic players into the new dynamic paradigm feels very bad to lovers of the format. I can't speak for everyone, but one of the reasons I love non-rotating formats is their stability; it's very concerning to see you striking at that.
At the very least, please consider giving us Traditional Historic and Alchemy Historic as two separate formats. If this takes the digital-only Jumpstart cards out of traditional Historic, so much the better!
