    100% this! Once the opponent spent mana to reconfigure the thing back to a creature it stayed behind the creature it was previously attached to instead of moving to the board to look like a stand alone creature again. Also, the mechanics for a creature that was attached w reconfigure to another creature that dies is not clear… once the creature dies, the reconfigured one turned back into a creature instead of being equipment sitting there needing to be attached. Perhaps it is working as intended, but the description for reconfigure should specify what happens.
